Girls Swim and Dive Update

January 23, 2020

Blue Springs girls swim and dive has had a phenomenal season so far. The team has gone 6-1 this year and is nearing the end of their season. Star freshman swimmer I’yana Foster is leading the team with eight victories over the last two meets against Platte County, Smithville and Belton where the Wildcats have defeated each team they have faced. Still on the swimming side of things, senior Jenna Wright, junior Annemarie Rehebein, senior Sydney Franklin, and Foster are all having standout seasons competing together in the 200 medley relay that has already qualified for state. Junior Abby Caudle is also having a standout season competing in the 100 backstroke, 200 free relay and 400 free relay. For diving, junior Mackenzie Loudermilk and junior Shayla Aten are having great seasons as well. The team has one meet left before their conference championship meet on February 6.
