Though Marc is from Kansas City, his favorite city is Atlanta, Georgia—a place known for its rich Hip Hop and Trap music scene. His favorite genre is R&B, and while his favorite R&B song is “Don’t” by Bryson Tiller, his all-time favorite artist is Drake.

Marc is a 16-year-old junior in high school who has lived in Blue Springs for most of his life. One day, he hopes to move to Atlanta and make it his home. When it comes to movies, he prefers thrillers and horror films—his current favorite is the latest Final Destination.

Outside of movies, Marc enjoys watching sports, working out to stay in shape, and simply relaxing at home. Winter is his favorite season because he finds cold weather more comfortable—perfect for cozying up indoors.

Marc has a strong and close relationship with his mother, someone he looks up to more than anyone else. One of his proudest accomplishments is being able to help her pay for rent and other expenses. His biggest goal in life is to one day buy her a house.

As for his career ambitions, Marc’s dream job is, in his words, “anything that pays a lot of money,” so he can be financially stable and continue to support his mom. Three of his biggest dreams are to take his mother on a trip to Greece, see Kevin Durant play basketball in person, and attend a Super Bowl.

Marc says his greatest fears are God and failure—two things that keep him grounded and motivated to work hard.

Overall, Marc is a young man with clear goals and a big heart. His deep love for his mother drives him, and it’s clear that he’s determined to make her proud and build a successful future.
