Meet Tatiyanna Johnson: A New Wildcat with Big Goals, Student Writer

Article written by: Marc Martin

Tatiyanna Johnson is a freshman at BSHS, joining the Wildcats this year from Raytown. She has big goals for her future, a calm personality, and a strong belief in God.

During our interview, I learned that Tatiyanna wants to pursue a career in radiology. This caught my attention because I didn’t know much about the field. She explained that radiology involves working with pregnancies and ultrasounds, specifically as an ultrasound technician. Her main reason for choosing this career is practical: “It pays good.” She also loves the job because she enjoys seeing babies.

Although Tatiyanna doesn’t get annoyed easily, she does have a pet peeve. One example she shared was when she was wearing all black, and someone asked her, “Do you like black?” She found that question silly and frustrating.

Tatiyanna doesn’t follow a specific religion but says she firmly believes in God. She used to attend church regularly, but now she prays occasionally on her own.

With her clear goals and steady mindset, Tatiyanna is off to a great start as a Wildcat.
