Twenty Blue Springs High School students competed at the state HOSA-future health professionals conference with over 1300 students the last two days. All BSHS competitors advanced to the second round in their events and the following students were recognized as finalists (top 5) and the top 3 received medals and have qualified for the international competition in June. BSHS is home to 3 new state champions and the Missouri HOSA Vice President.

Ashley Reed – 2nd Place in Physical Therapy
Megan Seaton – 1st Place in Medical Reading
Hadia Malik – 1st Place in Prepared Speaking
Henry Brown – 1st Place in Medical Terminology
Zeke Frederick – elected as the Missouri HOSA Vice President
